Overwhelming Response to Call for Abstract

Several hundreds communications submitted for Oral or Poster presentation from hundreds of participants based in some 45 countries.

This is the overwhelming response to the call for abstract for FIGIPAS 2009 closing first on March 15th, and then reopened (for Poster presentation only) till April 30, 2009.

The 10th FIGIPAS meeting in inorganic chemistry will be held in Palermo, Italy, during July 1 to July 4, 2009. In collaboration with the international advisory board, we have organized a a stimulating scientific event where young and experienced scientists meet to present and discuss all aspects of inorganic chemistry, opening up possibilities of engaging in meaningful collaborations at regional and global levels. Eminent plenary and keynote speakers include:

- Ira Weinstock (U. Ben Gurion, Israel)
- Athanasios Konstandopoulos (Certh, Greece)
