FIGIPAS 2009 (Palermo, 1-4 July, 2009)

Dear Colleagues,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 10th edition of FIGIPAS meeting in inorganic chemistry,  that will be held in Palermo starting on the first week of July 2009.

Since the first edition in Spain (1990) this important conference has successfully dealt with many of the frontier aspects of inorganic chemistry research.

 

This, too, will be the case of the 10th meeting in Palermo. Attendees will enjoy an high-level scientific meeeting and will leave the city after a pleasant experience, willing to continue visiting Sicily or returning soon.

The congress venue is the Teatro Massimo Opera House, in the heart of Palermo. The beauty of the city, crossroad of the Phoenician, Roman, Arab and Normand civilizations, will be an unforgettable setting for this prestigious scientific event.

On behalf of Italy's chemical community we look forward to organize a great scientific conference with a fascinating social program.

Registration and News

Online registration enables pre-registration to attend the congress; whereas a news section shall keep you updated on the conference organization.

Scientific Program

A stimulating scientific program with scientists meeting to present and discuss advancements in inorganic chemistry in an interdisciplinary context. There will be 8 plenary lectures, invited lecturers, oral short communications and two poster sessions.

Venue, flight, accommodation

Flight, accommodation and general info about Palermo and the conference's venue, the city's Opera House Teatro Massimo.

Organization

A local comittee led by CNR's Mario Pagliaro and University of Palermo's Leonardo Palmisano organizes FIGIPAS 2009 on behalf of the international scientific Committee which selected Palermo as city host to the 10th edition of the Meeting in Inorganic Chemistry.
